Accessories for boys can be one of the toughest things to come by.
Sometimes as parents, we'll spend the entire day hopping from store to store praying we'll find that one perfect thing for our guys to wear; meanwhile, the Mom over on the opposite side of the store happily skips to the cashier with her cute girly bows and bandanas.
One thing I've been lucky enough to learn is that, our guys know what they like. Give them an opportunity to play around and get a feel for what they want. Maybe on a shopping trip, grab a hat. Try it on. They'll tell you if they think its hot or not.
I've been lucky enough to have the coolest guy around! Zac would GLADLY inform me if he's not digging his look. For the first few months, my family and I realized he had a fascination with watches. He'd just stare and drool just a little more than usual when his God-Father passed by... eyes fixated on the watch alone. The moment he turned 1 1/2, I figured it was time I tried it out. Since then, it's become a staple in his every day look.
Not to mention the signature Messenger cap, Bow Tie, Neck Tie just to add a few are his go-to pieces.
More recently, Zac has fallen in love with "The Back Pack" (or as he would say, "Bah-Patch"). Oh boy, we couldnt DARE leave without it. While we were shopping for his Daddy Sponsored birthday threads, we stumbled across a football backpack at The Children's Place.
From then on, the two haven't parted ways.
It's a great way to give them a start of independence if they haven't started Day Care already. Not to mention, it takes a load off the purse and the baby bag.
A smooth step out of baby days and into Toddler-ism.
