Zac and I spent the day doing a bit of spring cleaning and decided to take a work break at the new mosaic across the street from my house.

After a lengthy renovation, the new "Mathematical Star" seems to be one of Zacs favorite hangtimes

Let's Go To The Park!

For the past few weeks, I've been working like a maniac!

50+ hour work weeks have kept me away from doing some of the things I most enjoy...

Late night dinner with the ladies, Reality T.V. with mi madre, and most importantly, hang time with my chipmunk, Zac. To make up for time lost, I took the most important man I know out for an evening at the park. 

The weather had been awesome the entire day. I couldn't miss a moment!

Hang Time with Charlie!

My good friend Laurel, otherwise co-named Charlie came to Brooklyn for a few short hours. We had a little breakfast food in the middle of the afternoon at Ms Dahlias Cafe, went bargain shopping at a very well hidden Salvation Army on Atlantic Avenue, and caught up on lost time.

Getting Beachy at Brighton

My LISA and I decided to take a last minute trip to Brighton Beach after work 

and had an amazing night! I picked up my Little Lancome beach bag, Zacs "Bah-Patch" and hopped on the B to Brighton.

Finally Made It To The Beach!

AfroPunk Festival?

Every year since 2008, I've been lucky enough to enjoy the rawness and excitement of great black artists. Whether it be great musicians, skaters, or painters, each year AfroPunk has something new to offer. At Commodore Park, wonderful people put together this "great engagement" where you'll get to whitness BMX Rider contests, Live performances from both renowned, Independent, and basement bands, Graf artists and designers; all uniting for two whole days. 
Unfortunately last year, Brooklyn missed out on all the fun thanks to Hurricane Irene. This year, we have tons to look forward to.  Best of all,
