Ring around the Mosaic!

Zac and I spent the day doing a bit of spring cleaning and decided to take a work break at the new mosaic across the street from my house.
After a lengthy renovation, the new "Mathematical Star" seems to be one of Zacs favorite hangtimes

Let's Go To The Park!

For the past few weeks, I've been working like a maniac!
50+ hour work weeks have kept me away from doing some of the things I most enjoy...
Late night dinner with the ladies, Reality T.V. with mi madre, and most importantly, hang time with my chipmunk, Zac. To make up for time lost, I took the most important man I know out for an evening at the park.
The weather had been awesome the entire day. I couldn't miss a moment!

Slow Down Sunday with Mi Madre

After having my first Sunday off in 6 months,
I was able to ATTEMPT to attend church last weekend.
Even though I wasn't quite successful in my attempt, I DID manage to get dressed up and take a few cute photo's with my mom and my chipmunk Zac!

Just Can't Let Go!

Zac has been growing all too quickly!
I haven't been all too brave as far as letting him start school.
I know it sounds a bit silly but, I find that the more kids are exposed to... well... OTHER kids, they can become slightly... different.
I'm somewhat nervous of Zac picking up phrases or habits I don't support at home.
As unrealistic as that sounds, I fought my fears and took my chipmunk to experience a trial day at a neighboring day care I grew up in.

Although I didn't show up in time, here's the gear I intended him to wear, lol

Sunday Morning with Zac!

Zac and I have been pretty busy lately. Between my new job at The Gap, early mornings and late nights, apartment hunting, we haven't had much time to update MomMe. Although we have been absent, there are much photographs to document the happenings!

This Sunday in particular, we took on the journey of traveling to Freeport, Long Island for church. Of course, I took an extra hour to get ready, missed the scheduled train, hopped in a cab, to wind up 30 minutes early for the next bus. All was well. It gave us extra time to take photographs of Zac in his super cute bow tie! Believe it or not, I found it in H&M's Mens department while shopping with my good friend Fred "The Writer" Green

Too Cute Chipmunk of the Day!

Check THIS cute little Chipmunk and his Fashion Forward Energy !!!!
This little man is wayyyyy too cool with his H&M gear on. I'm not one for biting but, I may have to steal this haircut for Zac. But, I must say. Whomever this hot guys parents are definitely know style and understand their little one. The socks are the coolest touch and definitely match his personality. Not too many can pull this off but, to each its own.
This kid is DEFINITELY a breed of his own. But, he can be down with the #TeamZac any day!

Backpacking+ with the Boys!

Accessories for boys can be one of the toughest things to come by.
Sometimes as parents, we'll spend the entire day hopping from store to store praying we'll find that one perfect thing for our guys to wear; meanwhile, the Mom over on the opposite side of the store happily skips to the cashier with her cute girly bows and bandanas.
One thing I've been lucky enough to learn is that, our guys know what they like. Give them an opportunity to play around and get a feel for what they want. Maybe on a shopping trip, grab a hat. Try it on. They'll tell you if they think its hot or not.

I've been lucky enough to have the coolest guy around! Zac would GLADLY inform me if he's not digging his look. For the first few months, my family and I realized he had a fascination with watches. He'd just stare and drool just a little more than usual when his God-Father passed by... eyes fixated on the watch alone. The moment he turned 1 1/2, I figured it was time I tried it out. Since then, it's become a staple in his every day look.
Not to mention the signature Messenger cap, Bow Tie, Neck Tie just to add a few are his go-to pieces.
More recently, Zac has fallen in love with "The Back Pack" (or as he would say, "Bah-Patch"). Oh boy, we couldnt DARE leave without it. While we were shopping for his Daddy Sponsored birthday threads, we stumbled across a football backpack at The Children's Place.
From then on, the two haven't parted ways.
It's a great way to give them a start of independence if they haven't started Day Care already. Not to mention, it takes a load off the purse and the baby bag.
A smooth step out of baby days and into Toddler-ism.

Chipmunks 2nd Birthday!

My Zac. The love of my life. The Apple to my Sauce. The "I" to my "Phone". You've gottta love this guy. Yesterday he turned TWO! Its been a pretty exhausting day. Between finding well-priced clothes off Union Square and trying not to die of dehydration in 90 degree weather, we had a lot going on. Zac made a few friends and had fun with his family.

Here are a few pics for proof!

Zac's Super Stylish Grandmother got him these pants for 10 bucks at H&M  Zac's Cool Red Pants

We were lucky enough to find his entire outfit at The Gap which had 40% off sale!

His new backpack (which he loves) comes from The Children's Place who also has 20% off school gear
